Great progress is being made. I neglected to take the photo about three hours after this one was taken that shows completed knee walls and some roof rafters up. The bedroom at the very top of the addition is going to be an amazing place.
The boys are starting to work on the third floor, and it should be sometime soon that the dormers start getting built. Below is our revised plan of the third floor showing the new internal staircase idea that Greg came up with.
The third floor is going to have the feel of the interior of a boat where sometimes the forward state room is accessed through a bathroom, as is the case here. I don't think it will be too big a deal, we had to give up the toilet in its separate room for the stairs, but details, details. Three bedrooms two baths up and one bedroom / one bath down. Not too shabby for a downtown rental.
